oilbleak
... that the spine on the GT500 book says "The Ford Shelbt GT500"? I'm not really sure what a Shelbt is but now that I know there's a book about it I kind of want one.

oilbleak
I just think it's funny that the publisher didn't catch something like that. I mean, I'm not in the publishing business or anything, but if I were hopefully I'd be able to notice a fairly obivious misprint. I actually kind of want to buy one of the books just because of the spine - if the book had been about the Shelbt GT I would have already ordered a dozen. The foil embossing of a books cover/spine is usually typed in on the production line (good chance on the night shift) so although the publisher gave them good copy it was most likely a production worker hitting the t key by mistake. If you look at your keyboard you will see the letter t is right next to the letter y. The question is does that person still have a job Steve

They created a very unique keepsake for many of us and doubled the original run, which is what management probably should have done in the first place. I suspect all will be sold and no one will lose any money. Good deal for all.

Matt Most likely printed in China for pennies a book. The publisher (author) did not provide an accurate if any proof-read. I had 8 proof-readers for my book prior to printing. There were no errors nor spelling mistakes. Another Shelby book printed in China had errors as well. This will not be a collectible. MM
