shipmodeler
Hi Y'all, So far I have ordered my race number graphics (#53 to match my CSM#) Terlingua race team stickers and red vinyl stripes for the fore quarter panels, plus a new scoop is in the works. Now I am looking at the deck lid.... I like the standard GT wing (like on the GTH) but the classic "duck tail" has that 1960's classic appeal. Finally the GT500 spoiler (because it is just BAD A$$). I am on a budget, I will do the work myself (including paint) but budget or no I want to have the right look (i.e. mass appeal). What do Y'all think? moabman
I put the 500 rear spoiler and the CS front fascia on my GT and I love it! Be careful painting because the paint varies a little throughout the run so don't just trust the formula. When I had my Thistle, I always wanted to come sail in the Mid-Winters West races at Mission Bay.

Stephen Vick Just received and mounted my GT500 spoiler today...got it painted from a company called spoilerexpress.com for $126.00 and change shipped...Mine is Vista Blue, spoiler looks good, depends on how the light hits it though, it looks lighter than the rest of the car in certain light, but at this point, the price was right and I don't care....if someone wants to gripe, they can give me the money to have it painted to match exactly!!! LOL here is the link to my post and pic of the install... http://www.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=28188

Stephen Vick I still like the KR, I mean V6 spoiler, and it's available as a take off for $119. I like the balance it gives my car without ruining the spoiler delete lines. Stephen Vick I ordered my GT500 spoiler from AtlantaMustang.com. It fit great and the color match was right on the money. It came painted for $230. I have no complaints at all. It installed with 2 screws, that I had to drill, and body tape. I have run it up to speeds that I'm not going to admit and it has held no problem. tangs4
GT 500 wing completes the look I really dont know why you would build a car with a low stance special front, hood scoop, side scoops and rear bumper and leave off the wing. Everyone that has looked at my car always asked why no wing, well I have since changed that and the car looks so much more balanced.
