LuLu
Yep...LuLu is back, no more 07SGT4729. LuLu
Thanks for the notes, gents. It's appreciated. thank God LuLu IS BACK....... That 07SGT4729 was a technical PITA.... J/K Mac........always love to read your posts. How is the recently acquired free time working out? Hopefully well, enjoy. I know, I know...It was a goofy thing to do. Poor judgement from the days before the merge of the two sites. BTW, a sincere tip of my hat to TS administrators for their assistance. As far as my "free" time, it's more like "freed-up" time. Work was getting in my way, and it was time to switch gears. I own two INEX/600 race cars, and I am very behind in getting them up and running for the '08 season. Recent rule changes and sour weather slowed prep progress, but the season opened 1 April, and I am not on the pavement yet. New sponsors means new paint schemes, and all my safety equipment certification expired at the end of 2007. Between safety updates, and rule changes, I am seriously waiting at the end of the parts line. It's been 10 hour days in the shop and I don't earn penny one as the owner. If I had not retired, I wouldn't make this season at all! Anyway...Thanks again, gents for the sentiments. Y'all be safe.

LuLu
Hey Mac - How was the trip to MO? Did you get a bit wet??? No, we got a lot wet. About an hour outside of St. Louis on Friday afternoon, the rain started. It came in sheets and it didn't stop until we arrived at the Ford dealership in Hermann, Mo. on Saturday. There was a pause for the visits to Fast Lane and Chuck-A-Burger, but it was raining on the way home and through the next morning. Once in Hermann, there was the rush to the coin wash which by the time I got there, was exhausted. Nonetheless, LuLu looked okay. Not her best, but what's a woman to do? Dry all the way home and a nice road trip with a few new friends. Steve, Larry, and Steve can drive, and I'll drive with them anyday.
LuLu
Pics are mandatory. I object. Your honor, he opened the door. Objection overruled. Okay, okay...Watching too much Law and Order, eh? J/K... I have a .zip file of hi-res pics I took a few weeks ago. Somewhat of a "visual" inventory of the areas I need to attend to post 2007 race season. This was a "personal" photo shoot, for my own needs. They were not intended for show, and y'all may not understand what I was focusing on. But, the cars are there to be seen, and answer the question of proof 2BJ asks for. 2BJ...I'd be pleased to send you this .zip file, but I need your e-mail addy. Please send this to me at SergntMac@aol.com? I'm not all that computer savy at this site, so, if anyone here knows how to upload a .zip file of hi-res pics for all to consume, please instruct me? Thanks, y'all be safe.

twobjshelbys
Okay, okay...Watching too much Law and Order, eh? Nope. Perry Mason. We watched Season 1 last year. Just started Season 2. On DVD courtesy of Netflix of course. Believe it when I say that 40+ year old Perry Mason shows are better than anything on TV right now. Thanks for sending the pics! Now it'll be easier for me to keep track of ya and hopefully help you stay out of trouble, Mac! I have to echo Steve's comment-I'm not sure "love" would be how I would describe my feelings, but I will admit he's pretty good company! At least it was mostly dry while outside the cars-weather wasn't great, but overall I think the weekend was. Caravans and road trips were a lot of fun.
