2008 Shelby GT Convertible

What I had read the original plans for 2008 were 2,000 blue with silver stripes SGTs. 70% of those were to be convertibles. Then there was to be 300 Grabber Orange models that were all coupes. I don't know if the dealer requests had any influence on these numbers or not. I have not seen a 2008 SGT on the road to date. Only on dealer showrooms.

Most of what I have read says only 2300 '08 SGT's will be produced:

2300 '08 SGTs. 300 Grabber Orange were the lowest CSMs, and the 100 Barrett Jackson Special Edition (black with red stripes) were the last 100. Everything in the middle was blue with silver stripes. CSM number does not equate to production date (the BJ specials snuck in to the pipeline in Dec/Jan/Feb.

I too would like to know the split, especially on the BJs, of coupes vs convertibles.

I know that there were to be 2300 08SGTs and it was originally intended for 70% of then to be verts. I don't think anyone knows for sure what the final breakdown is yet for 08, other than the colors. But from what ShelbyDude posted for a snapshot of availability holds up the ratio is more like 37% verts.

Does anyone know when it will be ready?

Its currently being worked on. Its not like you can go to Staples and purchase a registry program. The registry software was written just for SAI and like any new software it needs a few tweaks here and there to make it perfect.

When finished this will be the best Shelby Registry ever. Trust me you will not miss the announcement when the registry is ready.
