ndwhitehorse Posted July 13, 2009 Report Share Posted July 13, 2009 Well I tried the autocross...with the factory supercharger they put me in A Stock. Didn't matter what class I was in, my driving and unfamiliarity with the limits of the car, brakes & tires kept me pretty humbled most of the day. After 2 heats of 3 laps each I was able to improve my times about 8 seconds to 1 min. 16 seconds. I was told that run was probably about the best that could be done with the stock mud&snow tires...Lotsa fun, lotsa rubber left on the parking lot. The traction control was left on, but seemed to not be real effective coming out of a hairpin into a straight shot. I didn't stick around to see the final resuts, but did notice that I beat a 10 year autocross veteran driving a stock 2000 corvette. Most of the other Mustang drivers left big puddles of drool around my car... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
