I forget the telephone number, but I would like to get that build certificate on my car!! I think it was May 25th if I remember that was the last day scheduled for 08 mustang production. But don't plan on being able to get any numbers until around Sept or Oct. They take a few months to compile all the correct info before releasing anything. Willie
This is the SVT certificate for my prior '03 Cobra. The GT500 SVT certificate is similar but from what I've read, it also has a color breakdown. Willie

I know I didn't pay for it. Are you guys saying now you have to pay $45.00 for them to send it to you?

08 ELNR
Build certificate? Please explain. After production ends and all the information is compiled, you can request the build certificate for your gt500. It will tell you your car's sequence in the overall year's production and how many were produced with the options of your car.
skiph
Does anyone know when the 2008's will end production so we can find out from the factory the production totals, and where our cars stand in the overall run? I forget the telephone number, but I would like to get that build certificate on my car!! The production could have already "unoffically" ended. I had a GT500 on order for the last 2 months, and when the dealer pulled the status it kept coming up on a parts hold or something. Skuttlebut is they are making them all into KRs. This did NOT make me a happy camper! So, I got one that was on the floor that had a couple of extra things I kept telling them I did not want (SIRUS & Nav system) for MSRP! Only draw back is the interror is all black, and I had ordered back w/red. So, for another $1,200 they are two-toning the seats to Black w/red. Still saved me a good $6K over the one I ordered, and it's now in my garrage! So, all in all, a win-win I'd say. Have your dealer pull up the status of your order, and keep how DISSAPOINTED you'll be if it ends up not being made in your pocket. Could save you some $$ off a 2009 if yours never gets manufactured.
