S SNAKE 07 0081
I have a Question as to what gas octane owners are using in there GT500 and what octane will be used in the SS 605’s and 725’s when built? If this topic has been posted in the past please except my apologies’. Tom

ingram4868
Because they are building these for people all over the country I would have to assume they will be tuned for 91 octane

S SNAKE 07 0081
You waste more money on fuel.............. simple as that, no better performance or bad for the engine?
07alloyGT
simple as that, no better performance or bad for the engine? As long as you're not pinging without it (100+ octane) you don't need to spend the money. Save up for the next mod.
SSSNAKE
simple as that, no better performance or bad for the engine? Right, this is a big misconception that a higher octane level will make your car run beter (the oil companies are making a fourtune on this), you only need a high enough octane level to keep your car from pinging if you use a higher than needed value you're just throwing money out the window.
