jvfowler Posted August 15, 2006 Report Share Posted August 15, 2006 :happy feet: Well my vista blue/tungsten stripe coupe arived at the dealer last friday 8-11-06. The dealer emaied me som pics. I live in Colorado and the dealer is in Rochester Hills, MI (North Detroit suburbs) I can't get off work to pick it up until next week. I have a one way flight to Detroit from Denver on the 23rd. I have five days off and will be drivind back to Colorado. Needless to say I can hardly wait. I'm finding it hard to concentrate on anything. Hey, are you sure that's not supposed to be my car?!?! hey rpretzel: I'm pretty sure this is my car. I know we are both in Colorado and both ordered the same color combo. Hope you hear about yours soon. That material hold thing must be frustrating. I did get the shaker 1000 and that didn't seem to hang up my delivery. My build date was 7/24/06 and the striping seemed to take forever. I plan on taking route 66 back through IL, MO. OK, NM. I hope to get some memorable pictures of the trip. Will post when I get back. Don't leave it alone at the pump! looking fwd to picking mine up in about two weeks. I have a 130 mile trip. Not quite as exciting as route 66 but still a nice country road spin. The pictures don't do it justice, you're going to love it. It is awesome, they have it in a secure area out of the publics reach, the only reason I got to take a look is I have one ordered from the same dealer(Red with white). I checked out your stripes and not a single flaw or bubble, actually better than the last one I saw. Sweet color combination, I stood there for a good 20 minutes looking and talking to the mechanic. The car really is awesome, mine is getting built next week. If there is anything else you would like me to do just let me know. I'll be flying in to Detroit on the 23rd and Huntington Ford is supposed to send someone to pick me up on the morning of the 24th. I've got plans to hang out with some friends in Dearborn (Ford engineers) and then head out Friday morning. Feel free to stop by Thursday morning at the dealer, I'd like to meet you.
