motorjock205
Well, I was vacuuming out the inside of the car last night after I finished cleaning her up, and I noticed a small cut in the passenger seat on the outside seat portion...it's about 3/16 of an inch long and doesn't appear to have gone completely through the fabric. Is there any way to get this fixed before it gets worse? I know warranty is not going to cover something like this after I've had the car for only 3 weeks...Does it EVER end?????? Ask your dealer if they have a leather specialist that comes by their store on a regular basis, make sure they have more than 5 years experience at repairing leather and vinyl. The side of the seat is vinyl, but not sure what area you are talking about. 3/16" and not cut all the way through should not be that difficult of a repair for a professional and should run between $50-$75. Reino
Watch TV around 3am. They now have a leather/vinyl repair kit on TV for sale. Nah on second thought, get a professional.
Dread
After I got mine home last year I was cleaning it and opened the passenger door (which I didnt do at the dealers) and noticed the seam on the edge of the seat was opening up..... took it back to the dealer to see about getting it re-sewn........but cause a the air-bag...they had to put a new cover on.... the warrenty covered it...... Check with the Dealer ta see.it might be covered by the warrenty Hope so

motorjock205
just put some black electrical tape over it...nobody will notice  Ha Ha, very funny!!! Actually, I have a man coming to my house this Saturday to repair the cut. He said he does leather repair and can repair the cut since it didn't go all the way through for about $25.00. Auto Reconditioning company that goes to used car dealers and dyes carpets and does minor repairs to the interior...We'll see how it turns out, but I bet it'll look a lot better than electrical tape over it! Gentleman came to my house yesterday to repair the cut in my passenger seat...it was a cool morning and he said that was the best time to do this type of repair on leather. Took him about 45 minutes to repair the cut and spray some dye over the repair that matches the original seat perfectly....Cost was $20.00 and looks a lot better than a piece of electrical tape over the cut....Thank you very much!
