Gun Oil
Has someone come up with a set of measurements or template to "re" space the Shelby letters on the rear deck lid? I won't have stripes, so that won't help! Sorry if this had been asked.

You'll just need to eye it the best you can using these as guides.

iceman
It's been a while since I did mine but I know I had to adjust them after to get it like I wanted it. I also put the S on crooked the first time which does not look good trust me. First thing to do is get some painters tape and put it across as a bottom line so that you can get the letters all at the same height. I think I used 3/16ths from the lip pn the trunk but I couldn't be sure. I used a pencil and made a line so I could run the line across the lip and have the same height for all the letters. I then on the same tape markes where the edge of the lights were so I could have the S and Y lined up the same on the outside edge and makerd this on my tape too. Next I found the mid point between the inside edge of the S and Y so I had a point to measure from for where to put the next letters. Here is where it gets a little fuzzy on memory. I measured the letters (most of them are the same but 1 or 2 were different by a little bit). I figured how much space was left and how much space to make it equal between letters and then took half of that space from the mid point and marked that as the edge where the E would end and on the other side the B would begin. Then I took the midpoint between each of the letters placed and lined it with the mid point of the remaininging letters H and L and stuck them on there. I may have confused you more with this but it worked out OK I think...the lifht trim was added later and you can see the E which I think was a bit wider is actually a tiny bit over the edge of the 3rd light trim but I like the look and am not going to mess with it. Good luck - I suggest having an extra set of letters if you are like me and lack artistic skills....or be smart and use some paper letters first to mark where they go
