Your post makes no sense. Wow! I didn't know the GT500 had the same engine, transmission and suspension as a Mustang GT. If I had known the only difference was the hood, bumper and grill, I wouldn't have bought one. Although many of your comments and observations are spot-on, you have a tendency to make hasty generalizations that are often terse and aggressive (e.g. "your post makes no sense"). I was just pointing out that statements like the one I quoted often can be misinterpreted. Not everyone on these boards reads everything thoroughly...many just scan them to get the general gist. Your previous statement could easily be interpreted as inflammatory, particularly since your are oversimplifying the situation by saying the only differences are "a different hood, front bumper cover, and grille" when you know that there are many other visual differences such as the rear spoiler, tires and rims, front fascia, interior upgrade, SVT badging, cobra badging and Shelby badging. I'm just offering a little constructive criticism in an effort to reduce the chance of misunderstandings and eliminate the need for you to come back to explain yourself. And who here has seen it up close?? The CS front bumper cover is on a "GT" is it not? And the hood is not different. It just has a add on scoop. It was plain as day. The car is nothing special, Its basicly a CS with Shelby badging/striping and a cold air intake. Its a fact and deal with it. The grill is the only thing (other then the scoop) thats unique.
