Hardluck33
These are the mods we completed this week: Thanks Carl for the idea on the antenna! And yes you still get FM radio reception. Bought all the parts from SAI except for the antenna which is a shipping antenna and a vac. hose cover.
twobjshelbys
What kind of car cover, where did you get it, and how much? I'm only looking for a dust cover over my black vert. It's in the garage all the time so I don't need a heavy one.

It was $283 with the embroider, lock, cable and bag for the cover. Shipping was free. They have a huge selection and a lot of people recommended them. Hardluck33
Are those Silverhorse racing knobs instead of covers? That is correct they are knobs and not covers. I had to pull the old black plastic ones off which took about 30 seconds.
Hardluck33
What's up with that antenna?I need a shorter one for my car.Does that one work well? The antenna is a shipping antenna that all the cars are shipped with. 08SGT1234 gave me the idea as I saw it on his. I still get good FM reception with it. I then went to Pep boys, again 08SGT1234 gets all the credit, and bought Vac. hose covers, pack of about 10 cost around $1.78. Shipping antenna was free from the dealership. If I was smart I would go to the dealer and offer them money for their antennas and start an Ebay business and put the black covers on then ship them out. Go to your service department and ask them to get a shipping antenna off the next GT that comes in to the lot and hold it for you.

Just want to confirm they are Silverhorse knobs, correct? They look great. Did the old knobs break when you took them off? This may be my next purchase. The old ones break at the back flaps if you pull them off with a pair of pliers...or you can take the entire dash apart and they are not supposed to break. I pulled mine off with a cloth around the know and a pair of vice grips. Pulled straight back on them. Only one flap on each back side broke. The new ones push right into place and lock in. Good luck

Radical08
Personally I like the black ones that dont glare with the sun and leave finger prints. Can the original knobs be put back on if needed? If not I would not consider that item just my 2c. The pic of the rear of the car I don't see any add on? One more question about the knobs. Just the Shelby plate holder is all on the rear. No to the original knobs, but they are cheap to buy and replace if you want. That is why we each own our own car so we can modify as we see fit. Hardluck33
Nice pieces. I really like the car cover #'s Thank you. Cal Covers did a great job with that. On another note to all--careful on the Lloyd Mats---Just got mine in the mail. Paid for embroidery on four mats (two back mats for the kids) and only the front mats were embroidered. All the slips in the package annotated all four were done and check by four different people with their names and much to my surprise no embroidery. I wrote an email to customer service at autoanything but have not heard back, so I will be calling today, when all the west coast folks wake up. I went antenna hunting tonight when we dropped off the '05 for a service visit. All of the ones on the lot already had the large ones installed. I will have to talk to them tomorrow when we pick up the other car.
