Hi folks,

a big hello from Switzerland.

I'm 'el presidente' of the 1st European Mustang 2005 Club (www.mustang2005.org) and I thought it is about time to also join your forum for info-sharing and all the fun around that.

I am 36 years old (Canadian/German), married and 2 kids. :D

I have never been so car crazy before, but the 05 Stang just took my breath away. :bandance:

I bought it when I was on a biz trip in New York in May last year. Then I had to organize the whole shipping, pre-/on-carriage, customs clearance... (pain in the ass  ). So after 4 weeks after the purchase it was finally here in Switzerland. Gee, almost forgot, it had to be converted into Swiss standards. This means I had to amend the front lamp set with a white parking light instead of the amber for the US and they welded in some extra mufflers to cut the powerful sound of the stang which was apparently too loud for the Swiss :angry2:

Well after it passed the test, all the useless mods (by law) were gone again and it is even more powerful (& louder) than it ever was devil-smiley-029.gif

Now enough talking, I need to browse a bit around.

If you have some time, check out our club at Mustang2005.org

Thanks guys for the warm welcome party30.gif

Driving my Stang is just incredible! :shift:

It's like this dreadlock song: 'I don't like driving, I LOVE IT' misc142.gif

Maybe see you somewhen around at a US Stang event.

BTW, here are also some recent pics of my ride under 'Customer Rides':

Hi Ralph - Welcome!

Your blue coupe is very pretty.

That's quite a rear wing!

Browse around here - don't forget to go to the Shelby 500 threads.

You must be a real Ford fan to go through all that paperwork to get the car shipped.

Best regards from North Carolina USA -

Hey Brian,

thanks for the welcome.

Yeah, you can tell me being a huge Ford fan

I founded a club in Europe, so I guess, I am starting to get really crazy :woohoo:

The spoiler is just the beginning of the real exterior transformation. I like the racing look, but not too much of it. It must still look classic. So I need to find my middle way between classic and racing...

I'll certainly let you guys know here!

Ciao, Ralph

Welcome around here Ralph B) and see you @ mustang2005.org

Jen

Thanx Jen, so you're also browsing around in here :happy feet:

C u soon...

Ciao, Ralph

Great job and congrats on the car and club....It must be love to go through all that for a car...We all know how you feel!

Haven't been around for a while.

Now we are going to Germany on the Germany Autobahn to drive more than 240 km/h with more than 10 05 Stangs.

Mine should be around 280 km/h with all the mods I've done... Need to get my Dyno soon...
