altopcat
Has anybody pulled the Hurst out and swapped it for a different shifter? I loved the shifter in the Shelby 500 Mustang I believe it is a Tremac and it was smoother and easier to row through the gears.
TheKurgan
My Hurst feels just how I like a performance shifter to feel. Not too loose and not too notchy. These are mustangs and frankly, I would feel a bit uneasy if the shifter was not a bit too hard shift at the outset. After 8000 miles, mine has loosened up perfectly and I am happy with it despite the rattle. I"m hoping my shelby shifter knob that comes in today will solve the rattle problem. Mine has about 3000 miles with no rattle! Is this normal? I like the "notchy", positive feel, personally. Plus it looks sweet! Dan
