A DELIVERY DATE!!!! My car is being delivered on April 12th. He seems to think it may be in earlier due to the Saturday delivery date. I'm banking on the 14th.

 

 

BigDrawz.....call Creed, unfortunately your's is coming a week later. PM me when yours comes in. If I can make it, I'll run up to Kings.

A BUILD DATE!!!! My car is being built on April 4th. Hopefully it will be here by mid April. Now how can I follow the production??

Man thats awsome, i am sooo jealous.

I called my guy today, and if doesn't give me some good news i might be calling Creed.

There are treads about tracking production, just do a search.

Don't get your hopes up on 2 weeks after April 4th on a GT 500.

Serialize Date: 1/24/2008

Segment Date: 1/24/2008

Sequence Date: 2/13/2008

Blend Date: 2/15/2008

Produced Date: 2/27/2008 note date

Gate Release Date: as of today still sitting outside

Ship Date: not assigned yet

Arrival Date:

Sold Date:

 

From what I've been tracking on this , it usually takes 3 weeks once built till it arrives at the dealer.

 

 

FYI;

Receipt Date: The date that MS&S recorded the order.

When the order is received from the dealers

 

Serialize Date: The date that MS&S transfers the order to MP&L and the VIN is created.

When the order is received by Material Planning and parts are ordered

 

Segment Date: The date that MP&L determines which week the order will be built.

When they figure what week that parts will be able to be delivered to the plant to build the vehicle

 

Sequence Date: The date that MP&L determines which day the order will be built.

When they figure what day that parts can be at the plant to build the vehicle

 

Blend Date: The date that MP&L determines when the order will be built within the assigned day.

When they figure the specific order that vehicles will be built. This depends on options and line constraints.

 

Produced Date: The date that VO finished assembling the vehicle

Your unit has been built!

 

Gate Release Date: The date that VO transfers the vehicle to Transportation Carriers for shipping

Your unit has left the building, and is in the hands of the shipper (rail or truck)

 

Ship Date: The date the vehicle left the Assembly Plant

Your unit has left the load site, and is on it's way to the dealer

 

Arrival Date: The date the Dealership received the vehicle

Your dealer has the unit in hand, doing the dealer prep thingy

 

Sold Date: The date the Customer picked up the vehicle

You came in, looked it over, said, "I'll take it!" and signed the papers

I guess it depends on how far from the factory the dealer is. As you can see from my signature line below, the time mine from when mine was built until it hit the dealer was quick! :happy feet:

 

Of course since I ordered it out of state I had to have it shipped to my house and that took almost a month :hysterical:

Mine's been completed since 2/28 and hasn't moved an inch....backup is with the striping..if you are getting stripes you're going to wait.
