shelbyguy470
Being I got flamed once before for asking a question that had already been posted I attempted to search the forums first. My question was what make and sizes of tires are members upgrading to? I tried SGT tires and got the " too few letters" error So I tried Shelby Tires and got 56 pages of responses, none of which seemed to have anything to do with my question. Some help would be great. JeffIsHereToo
Ok...you're already in a forum that's all SGT so delete that. Multiple words are an "or" function. Hence all the pages. Just search for "tires", I did and got 2 pages of which these seemed to hold promise. http://forum.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=23967 http://forum.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=24037 http://forum.teamshelby.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15196 Remember too that often people make references to things, you might find important inside another thread that will come up but not seem related when you look at the title. Also you want to look through this old stuff as people may not see your new post or they may not be here anymore and you'll loose out on valuable info. If you don't find what you're looking for feel free to post a specific question and plenty of people will step up I'm sure. Oh, and be sure to do a search in the discussion forum as many of the threads from the old SAI site have not been moved because I'm lazy and my free GT500KR has yet to arrive. Hope these help! torquewrench1807
Important: Be sure to tell tech there is a sensor on each of your wheels Purchased 4 Michelin Sport Pilot A/S RRBL (255/45 ZR-18) from Discount Tire. The wider 255 looks good compared to the stock 235 tire, but some of my friends don't even notice the wider tire unless I bring it to their attention. The ride of the car feels good with the new tires. Total cost was $1,100 including free replacement certificates, lifetime spin balancing, valves, rotation, and repairs. Included $30 for trade-in tires (8,200 mi).
