Anybody Install CDC's Dead Pedal??

Recommended Posts

Has anybody installed CDC's dead pedal?

I am having problems resetting the carpet, once the pedal is installed. The section of the carpet that now goes under the dead pedal hits the dead pedal before it can return to its original flat position. The only fix I can see is to trim the carpet. <_< <_<

But, before I do that, I wanted to make sure I'm not missing something easier..

Thanks, :happy feet:

+1 I have the same problem...I just left the carpet as is. I think I am going to replace all my pedals with a Ultimate pedal solution.

Anyone have installation instructions for this pedal? I'm interested in it, but if it's not going to fit right, I'm not interested...

It installs exactly the same as Steeda's. I originally installed a Steeda, then when CDC came out with matching dead pedal to the OEM pedals I installed CDC. Both bolt to a bolt under the left side kicker panel down by your feet. You have to yank the door sill trim and the kicker panel. To properly seat the carpet (no wrinkles) means a small notch in your carpet under the dead pedal bracket that ends up hidden under the dead pedal. It's no biggie and it's easy to do. Total install time is about 30-45 minutes. Less if you have done it twice :hysterical3:

I highly recommend a dead pedal for spirited driving.
