Replacement hood pins

Make sure you don't qualify for a warranty replacement! These have been VASTLy improved over the sets installed in 06 and early 07. At the very least get the stock replacement set and store away.

These are the stock pins:

I just installed the $64.95 stainless hood pin kit from Shelby. I wanted the look to remain the same as original. Very nice kit, easy install, and the parts are of much higher quality than the originals. And they won't rust!

well guys I must warn anyone flirting with the idea of installing the billet hood pin kits.they do not fit without some redneck engineering.I had to customize the brackets to suit the extreme angle of the thicker discs.I would not do it again.I also had to enlarge the holes in the hood.stay clear of this accessory stick with the thin discs. :banghead:

Jeff,

I ordered two of these hood pin kits, one for replacement and one to save for future use. They have a swivel wire end connector like the 07/08'' SGT's. I understand this is an improvement but is there a stock OEM type wire with just the fixed metal eye connector? I'm trying to improve my hood pin wires but want to keep the stock original appearance...

Thanks.

I installed the billet ones with no problems, I had to teak them alittle but it was no big deal. Anytime you change something your gonna have to do alittle tweaking, just take your time.
