be sure to watch KITT!

oh come on...it wasn't that bad! It is what it is! The premise doesn't led itself to much in the way of credibility anyway. It's just good fun and nothing more. I do wish they had done a better job at the end with the Hoff. Seemed an opportunity lost there but there was at least a story behind it. I can see now why it went to TV rather than the origiobnally intended theatrical movie. I had hoped for better but it wasn't totally terrible!

Oh...I did like the V6 spoiler on the car like the KR that was sold at BR last month. It adds to the look but doesn't overwhelm the back of the car like the GT500 spoiler.

IMHO!

Anyone else have any thoughts on that?

Wouldn't it be cool if a Team Shelby member won the KR...

Good luck,

KITT = Knight Industries Three Thousand

I didn't think it was that bad. If this was the 80's that show would be out of this world. It's really odd how times have certainly changed as to what American's think is good TV. That seems to happen from generation to generation. The 80's were full of shows for the younger (pre-teens to teens) type shows. Dukes of Hazard, Knight Rider, Miami Vice, the list goes on and on. 90's were 1/2 hour comedy like Friends and reality like COPS. Now it's reality tv, make over shows, and the like. We'll have to see if the new Knight Rider has a chance in today's world. I don't think it will, but I think it's kind of fun!

I thought it was a pretty good throw back type show.you guys that didnt like need to remember these shows were marketed to young pre-teen kids.kids now days have the discovery channel & the history channel showing real super weapons.these kids have no sense of optimisum with what the future might hold.I would hate to grow up in this decade.

O.K. now I liked the double wing on attack mode. If you are thinking wing for your SGT, then there it is! To see if your were awake there were two other questions. What color did KITT morph to when excaping. Also what kind of FUEL does it use. Think about it for the free KR. Sudden.

KITT morphed twice into a GT. Once Grey in the desert and once Purple in front of the hotel in Las Vegas.

Did anyone else notice the hotel where the scenes took place was the Monticito of Las Vegas TV fame....I expected Danny and Belinda or Tom Selleck to show up in the casino.

KITT did not have trouble outrunning the Edge. He was purposly not running faster than the edge could barely keep up without high risk of major injury ie crash. KITT said so when asked why he had not outrun them. That is when he changed tactic and used the oncomming truck to stop them. Seems that point was missed on most forum discussing the show.

I did notice it was the Montecito and expected the same thing. I didn't think it was that bad, it was Knight Rider not an entry at Sundance film festival-my 6 year old loved it. it had some good points-the car, the crash scene, the hot Stanford prof. The worst thing about it for me is when my son told me KITT was cooler than our Shelby because it can talk :hysterical:
