Michael Morris
Kevins (Dig-It) SGT came in Thrusday night. He live in VA and I have been working for 2 days to get a enclosed trailor to deliver it. Well I get a call on my cell this morning. It was Kevin asking about pictures and WHY its taken so long to get it delivered. While Im trying to explain that some folks dont move as fast as i would like I hear feedback in the phone, guess who caught a ride from VA to get his SGT?? He was trying to give me a hard time and was already at the store. Well its was great to finally meet him face to face. After some preflight items were put on (Bra, plates, and hat!!) he was ready to go. I told him i wanted to post of pic or 2 for him. So here they are. Check out the wheels. I sure hope Kevin has better pics than me michael morris

Dig-It
First off, it was great to finally meet Michael and Chris! I was given the royal treatment while I was there (I always have been by these guys, and now even more so in person!). Michael had one of his guys take some pics and send them to me the morning after it delivered. As soon as I saw them in my email, two words popped in my head - "Road trip!" I was lucky enough that one of the guys I work with lives in Augusta and was headed home for the long weekend. So I caught a ride with him and then rented a car one way from Augusta to Perry. I had called Chris on Friday while I was on the road with my friend, that's when the plan was born. I was going to show up unexpectedly Saturday morning in the middle of a heated phone conversation about delivery of my car. It worked out perfectly. I stood just behind the corner of the building and called Michael. I watched him stand next to my car while he was explaining the difficulties with transportation. That's when I walked up to him and said, "Fine, I'll just drive it home myself". The expression on Michaels's face was priceless, but then it turned into the biggest grin. Michael, you're a great sport and a grand host. For everyone else, you all (or y'all as they say in GA) need to go to Perry and meet one of the best car dealers you'll ever meet! Even if you don't buy a car from him (which you'd be a fool not to), stop by and meet a major player in the modern Shelby Mustang era (you've seen his sig - who else has sold that many Shelby's!?!). Here are some pics and info: The bra is from Colgan: http://forum.teamshelby.com/forums/index.p...=24420&st=0 The front tag bracket is from Custom Mustang Bracket (Craig Broussard) The wheels are American Racing Shelby Torq-thrusts in chrome (18x9 front, 18x10 rear) shod with BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW (255/45 front, 285/40 rear)

I like the wheels and are a perfect match to your car. I see you have a lift in your garage. Whats on top??? Enjoy the ride, Gary
Donald Whelihan
Kevin I really like the bra, went to colgans site and found it. Do you remeber the part #PR1474 or PR1474+. Did it come with the hood pin holes already in it ? And do they both have liscense plate bracket holes in them or is that a cutout. That is one SHARP lookin car, can't wait for mine to come in. Don. Dig-It
Thanks everone - it really was worth the wait! I see you have a lift in your garage. Whats on top??? That's Mjollnir “Thor’s Hammer”. A very modified 2001 Mustang GT Premium Coupe with only 11,9XX original miles. Kevin I really like the bra, went to colgans site and found it. Do you remeber the part #PR1474 or PR1474+.Did it come with the hood pin holes already in it ? And do they both have liscense plate bracket holes in them or is that a cutout. That is one SHARP lookin car, can't wait for mine to come in. Don. PR1474.1 and it did already come with the holes for the hood pins. I had them make mine without the tag cut-out in the front because I was getting Craig Broussard's clamp on bracket (I put it on after the bra is on). Dig-It
Kevin- you did a road trip from GA to VA. How did the bra do? Any flapping or scratching of the paint ? Price of bra delivered?[ Tell us about the lift./size] The front end cover (bra) worked better than I expected. It went on fairly easy and stayed tight the whole trip. Yesterday morning I gave the car a thurough wash and detail and found nothing wrong with the paint on the front. I bought it directly from Colgan for $171. The lift is from Eagle Equipment (www.eagleequip.com). I bought the MS-7000 for $1850.

Michael Morris
Why are the R's in Morris backward lol...... Congrats Dad did that 20 years ago when he bought the place. We started it in the papers so folks would call and tell us the AD was screwed up. we hoped if they saw one mistake they would read the rest looking for more and we just left it that way. i tell most folks that that all but the N and S are backwards, but yall only notice the Rs. michael morris

AFBLUE
Kevin, Just found this thread. Not a lot of internet access of late. Hopefully that will change next week when I get to my final destination. Your story of calling Michael while you were in the store cracked me up. I would have loved to seen his face. I wish I could have been there when you got your car. Wheels look awesome. I may have to copy you at a later date.

Except for Carl's son running it through the gears on the dyno last weekend, no one else has driven it - not even the Mrs.! First other-than-owner drive is still yours when you get back! It's always a blast meeting the folks of Team Shelby in person. This was an opportunity I just couldn't pass up. Besides, I couldn't think of a better way to break in the engine! As far as the wheels - I know a guy who can get them for you on the cheap! Stay safe, Kevin
