is there anyway for me to find if SGT0222 or SGT2220 are available?

I've been back and forth for several months now on the Shelby GT, GT 500 and a Saleen and I'm pretty sure I'm set on the Shelby GT. Now I'd like to try and find a specific CSM number.

 

I emailed Vegas and they told me the 08 version was out there somewhere but didn't know where. Is there anyway I can find out if it's for sale at a dealer or if an 07 with either number exists/is available?

It's possible the 2220 07' is still out there, doubt 0220, there are a number of 07's still for sale, if you could cross the CSM to the VIN you can have a dealer search inventory. Of course there was 0022 the jink car... :hysterical: Old timers remember that one!

I was under the impression that the first 300 CSM numbers (for 2008) were for the Grabber Orange California Special cars.

 

Could someone verify this or confirm the accuracy.

That was the plan much like the planned to build 6000 Shelby GTs in 2007. It is my understanding the final Grabber Orange build total was 219. AFBlue has the first Vista Blue CSM# at 220.

07sgt0222 was on ebay in early june of 2007. It was a black vehicle and located in NH at the time.

AFBlue post a spreadsheet on the old board... search his posts.

 

Some CSM numbers and which dealer has them are there.

Also, Sunrise Ford in North Hollywood had several low numbers GO(s) when I was up there in December if that's your cup of tea.

 

They had #0004, #0005, and #0022.

 

Ask for Mr. Strasser in the internet dept... he's a straight shooter. Last time I spoke with him, I believe

he was in the process of selling #0005.

 

They may have recieved the Vista Blue ones by now... tell him Jim sent ya.

4) Jeff, 07SGT0022 is no longer jinxed. It is in good and safe hands. Roger and I have seen it and I've driven it.

5) Chris is correct that 08SGT0222 is Vista Blue

6) It is correct that Mark had a database. His is of the 08 models. I started it for the 07s snd he took over for the 08s. Like one of you I had collected a lot of the ebay deals and will go through them plus my database tonight. Email me at adams.shelbygt@gmail.com to remind me

08SGT0222 is in CA and im waiting for them to wake up so i can call on it

08SGT2220 is a BJ car and is on the way to the dealer. have left message to see if its sold.

Michael, thank you so much for your efforts on this.

 

I really thought I was going to be buying a SGT today but the 07 being gone... well I guess someone thought winning two quarters yesterday was enough excitement for me.

 

Maybe the 08 or the BJ is a convertible even thought the BJ color combo would be my last choice :/
