So I'm trying to schedule my trip to Vegas to get my BJ at a museum delivery and wanted to rent a GT-H. When I tried to schedule the rental Hertz basically had the GT-H blocked for the entire period I checked. I'd be amazed if they're all gone on a Wed or Thu at the end of March, so...

Are they still available or did I just get amazingly unlucky?

A BJ is included in the museum delivery for $500??? :hysterical2:

On a serious note, I was looking at them for mid June for a mid week single day and was unable to access the site to make a reservation as well. Might be something where calling would be best.

Were you looking in Vegas? I finally called Hertz. The lady said they were still available for rent but that they were indeed all rented out.

I doubt it is included (although I didn't ask). I'm going out a few days before because of airline schedules and getting it on Friday. Then my wife flies out on Saturday since school is still on. I'll have it the whole rest of the week we are there.

I was looking in Vegas. Wasnt looking too hard since were only trying to get an idea of what we want to do and when. This will be our first trip to Vegas. I wonder how far in advance they are rented out and when they lose them.

I know my wife would love the GT-H. She doesnt know how to drive a stick so she cant drive my SGT. Lucky for me.

I don't know if they are just not available or if you are just unlucky. I was looking at multiple places to go that might have a GT-H and they said they were unavailable. I also found them removed from some areas and moved to others. I know they used to be in Denver, but they are not any more. I live in Houston and was suprised to see that they are having some here as well as Dallas. So they are moving them around a little. As I was searching around I saw that a lot a places showed them but you could not get them till April or May. I thought that was strange! Do they lock them all up for the winter or all they actually booked throughout the US till April?

I have one booked in Vegas in May, So I really don't know if were unlucky or what.

Depending on the accumlated mileage on each car, on avarage the GT-H's should remain in service through the summer months. Las Vegas cars don't accumulate as many miles on them as, let's say Los Angeles cars, mainly because most LV rentals are just being driven from the rental center to the hotels which is not that far. Having said that, I suspect that a person should be able to rent one through September.

I was in the rental car business for a few years so I have a good understanding on how the companies cycle their cars in and out.
