stump_breaker
Man I am excited! Touring their facility was a lot like touring the SAI facility except more one-on-one and they are talking of having a signature wall in the new facility being constructed. Maybe I can be the first signature! Anyway, great guys and a very clean facility even with the construction going on. It was so nice to pull up and see a huge sign out front that says Shelby Mod Shop. I should have got a picture. There are not too many cars inside yet but thay had a GT350 clone in near mint condition (white wth blue stripes - absolutely gorgeous), Glen was working on his Galaxy 500 plus they had a late 60's maroon GTO convertable (my favorite), and a few GT 500's one of which is awaiting the 700 HP conversion - and now my SGT - (prettiest car there altough the GTO gave her a run for her money :D ) When I get her back the alignment will be corrected, the hood scoop fix completed and I will have 4.10's!! Hopefully the Dyno will be up by then and I'll go ahead and get a couple of runs.

You do get through 1st and 2nd pretty quick but 3rd gear is a real kick in the pants! You may want to install a shift light. I was hitting the rev limiter a lot before I had the 4.10s and even more with the new gears. The shift light put an end to that. Raptor Performance makes a nice one, easy to install/set, only three wires (power, ground, and any plug). http://www.raptorperformance.com/ Good luck... That's probably a good idea so I don't throw a rod through the block (been there done that with a 350 - shrapneled both sides of the oil pan and split the block up the #3 cylinder wall from top to bottom).
