04Retro
I'm having 'trouble' with the local pain in the neck dealership (Sacramento). They have 7 07's in stock and seem to have misplaced the Shelby MSRP sheets for all of them....... replaced with with quasi-formal looking sheets stating Shelby add on is $14,995 Anyone recall or have easy access to their paperworik--what was the SAI MSRP for the 07's--obviously Ford's part varied depending on auto/stick and stereo options etc...but the Shelby SAI portion...$7 or 8k plus the $1000 gas guzzler tax. Did a 'search' here and couldn't find 07 info (but found 08). Thanks

RogerS
$7390 for the Shelby Package and $1000 gas guzzler tax. $8390. All the rest is ADM. If you do buy this car you can contact John Walker at Shelby Automobiles and he should be albe to help you secure the Sticker you are missing from Shelby Automobiles. Hope this helps

It is not a MSRP. $15K is well above reasonable profit and that is why they have 7 of them still. If you look through the 2008 stuff Shelby provided a MSRP. 04Retro
Thanks Everyone!! I'm aware that in 07 a big mistake was made in the direction of the dealers and that there was no dealer profit included in the Shelby add on price... and they are in business to stay in business, I have no problem on that end. This is beyond ADM... they are claimng the Shelby MSRP cost is $14,995 PLUS they have an ADM on top of that... they are dropping the ADM due to market conditions ....but still representing the $15k Shelby cost as part of 'their' cost. I hate this dealership-- but they have the biggest remaining inventory in town......... If anyone wants a 2000 Cobra R they still have one (NEW)--its been on the floor at $100k since 00 awaiting a buyer......... Last summer their showroom looked wonderful--5 GT 500s in differnet colors spread across the floor ..all carrying an $85,000 ADM- yes $85,000 plus the MSRP of the car. They probably won't budge on the Shelby GT's but at least I have the knowledge again...
mrhugger
Retro.. no doubt the shelby package is 8390. Car should list around 38k. Hell of deal at that. Steve
AFBLUE
Go elsewhere. Look on ebay, tons of 07s and 08s in the $30Ks. Michael Morris of Wayne Morris Ford in GA will sell you one at invoice.

STLShelby
This isn't mine. Mine was after they quit listing the price. This is a pic i took of the first SGT my dealer got in. Print a copy of this and take it with you.
mywickedshelby
better yet, why dont we all pitch in and post it in their local newspaper so those clowns never sell them for that ripp-off price! just thinking out loud! <_<
stump_breaker
Hey Retro, hind-sight is 20/20 for me but if I had to do it all over again I sure would deal with one of the dealers on here.

Don't know if it's true or not, but i was told the reason they quit listing the price was because dealers were bitching about it, as they wanted to put hidden ADM's on the Shelby package also. 69dejavue
There is profit for the dealers with the Shelby. The dealer buys the car for invoice minus hold backs. If they sell the vehicle for MSRP plus the 8390 the dealer will probably make about 3K on the deal. There are dealers on line that will sell for invoice. good luck

Thanks 04, I'm in N.Y. and I just took delivery of my car yesterday, The price I got was my x-plan price + the 8390 for the shelby package, and then there is a $1000 rebate here in ny plus the 1.9 financing. Realy a sweet deal. Keep searching the dealerships, I located over 20 diffrent cars online before I bought mine, I just happend to get lucky that the local dealer wasn't out to make a killing on it. Hey Retro, hind-sight is 20/20 for me but if I had to do it all over again I sure would deal with one of the dealers on here. I fully agree--but I'm buried at work and have only 5 days or so under the current 0% interest rate deal to get this done and out of State cars without the darn "Calif" smog sticker are a pain to deal with...CA DMV clerks just don't get the concept of a 50 state smog sticker--they do not understand that Calif is one of the 50 states....unless in 07 Ford started putting the word California on all smog stickers....(don't get me going on that rant). Yea, but why do they not show that in the picture of the interior? Just too lazy to take a new pic of the one feature that may differentiate the car from all the rest? Nice...Ford salespeople at their best!
