Cincinnati Show

Recommended Posts

I was at the Tri-State Mustang show in Cincinnati today and the Gt500 was there. Actually there was two, both red with white stripes, one vert and one coupe. My initial thoughts on seeing the car I have loved since the day I saw the concept in Motor Trend last year was that it looked mean as hell. But I must say that the coupe makes this particular model. The convertible does not do this justice and I'd take my '04 Mach 1 over that on looks alone. But the interior looks awesome, the seats are just fantastic, and the body work is orgasmic. I asked the Svt rep to start the car and he didn't let me down, but the Shelby did however. If you like Supercharger noise, this car is for you since it seemed to totally drown out the exhaust. The exhaust is quiet, a little bit too quiet if u ask me, but that's from a guy who has been listening to a Mach 1 with Borla exhaust for over a year and a half. Don't get me wrong, I'd would give up the mach, and just about everything else, for a red coupe with white stripes, but I would definetely upgrade to Borla as soon as the system came out. Other than that, this car is definetely an attention getter and does not disappoint. I have a few pics, enjoy. I had to throw in a pic of my car and buddies in there too. My mach is on the far right. I'll miss her when I leave for college in 2 weeks!!

It was about 12 miles north of Cincy at Lakota West High School.

Sweet, I live in Dayton, I wonder why I didn't hear about this show. I will disagree on one point, I love the vert. I have a black/tungsten stripe coming in 2-3 weeks and I can't wait. I am putting on Bassani axle backs. I don't like the stock sound either. I will say though that I got the vert based on future value. :happy feet:

The vert looks great, just not in Red. I would love to have a Tungsten or Black vert, but I would hate myself if I ever got anything but a red coupe with white stripes.

I got the black vert with tungsten stripe, premium interior. The first car my dealer got was a red coupe, it looked good but personally I would get white with blue stripes in a coupe. FYI, I saw the red coupe just after they took it off the truck and someone dogged the hell out of it. Tire dust all over the rear quarters and tail pipes were black. Also the rear tires looked like half had been burned off. I told my dealer if mine looks like that, someones getting shot :rant::rant:
