ShelbyCobra826
Yeah....looks cool but I like open air not a greenhouse. But nonetheless a good option (as a retrofit - can't remember ths supplier but I saw a red GT500 with one installed) for those of use who purchased 2007 models and did not have the convertible option. I had thought about it myself but like the stripes running over the roof too much. For new buyers thinking of checking the box on a 2009 order, I assume that this would be structurally equivalent to a coupe and maybe therefore an option for the truly performance minded. Just wondering how much weight it would add. Anyway, pretty cool that Ford followed the aftermarket down this path.
SGT#507
I may be in the minority here...but I love the glass roof option. My first car had some sweet t-tops and I love the open roof feel, but am not a big convertible guy. I don't like it enough to add the after-market version, but if they had offered this for the 2007s and it was an option for the Shelby GT, I would have jumped all over it.
