14 days from arrival at SAI to completion. Wow I hope mine is that fast.

1 week to get through mod shop and 2 more weeks to get to me. So theoretically, I could get my car by 7 Dec. Yeah I know, "keep dreaming"

Hey SAI! Let's see if we can move AFBLUE's car to the front of the line. After all, this man has been serving our country and now that he's back stateside, we need to show our appreciation and support...how about it? Maybe by Thanksgiving?? Or sooner!

Already spoke with Bud. Car won't be ready in time, plus I don't have enough time to drive it back (nor do I want to put that many miles on my car)

I'VE GOT IT! First, a little track time at the speedway for one of our own who serves in the military. Many of us have been fortunate enough to be at the dealership when our cars arrived. SAI, how about having AFBLUE's car ready next Friday, and after the track time, he gets to see it loaded on the transport for the ride home. Then he can be the first one of us to "escort" his car home. Or at least meet it there!

Attn: Amy, Bud, Robert, Sharon: Wouldn't this be a great feature story for the website(s) and the Shelby magazine? (Think how popular the "Building the Shelby GT" article has/will be.) Wouldn't it be a great feature to showcase the preparation of one of our soldiers' cars for any automotive magazine? Think there are soldiers serving our country who would appreciate reading this kind of story while stationed in a foreign land? How about it Amy...Bud?

For a special occasion like this your boss should let you take the rest of the day off!

Just show him a picture....
