go long tubes or go home (im pretty sure the Kooks are LTs but I dunno if they make both shorties and LTs) get the long tubes, i hear you get about...2...hp from the shorties.

These are long Tubes with high flow cats and x-pipe , I like it because its all bolt on no hacking up the exhaust system . Its good for 20+ RWHP and requires a tune but since I have a tune coming already they upgrade the tunes for free when you buy their parts , thats pretty cool of them to do that .

I would like to go LT's but i would have to change back for cali when the emissions inspection was due. But, then again, thats 5 years from now............Hmmmmm!\\\Hey? wait a sec. If you have LT's your not going to have cats are you? The only way the cats are legal in calif. is if they are installed in the exact place as factory and with LT's thats not going to happen.

After talking with Brenspeed I think the next mod I will do is the Kooks header kit , this bolt on will come in handy later as well when the cams go in . You can see the kit here .

Any idea how it will sound after this install? Are you sticking with the stock exhaust?

You said up above "With High Flow Cats" If you are running LT's you are running cats too?

Ed ,they have a icture of the entire kit on this link and whats included , clink on the Kooks header picture and another picture will pop up with all that is included in the kit , BTW it would be too nasty sounding without some type of cat on it.

Ok, I see, Thanks.

Those look sweet but, not legal in cali. If i went long tubes, i wouldn't have the cats on it because they are not located in the factory position.
