Great Video of a 1966 GT 350

While trolling around tonight, I found this great video of Jay Leno driving his 1966 GT 350. Whether you like him or not, there is no denying that Leno is a great car guy and this is one of the better vids of an original Shelby Mustang on the road.

Best thing about it is his quote at the end..."you can always sell stock, you can never sell a Shelby."

It is also great that this is a site sponsored by GM...and is featuring an old Ford.

i love that old mustang engine sound...wish i had a 66 like that. there's a car shop in town that sells classic cars and they have one that looks like that (white with blue stripes) sittin in front inside the show room with hood up. but i dont know if its a 66 gt 350. i never stopped by and looked...i just see it as i pass by every night to and from work. i work nights and get off early in morning so the place is closed durring that time.

Cool post. I don't know why anyone wouldn't like Leno. He's always seemed like a prety cool guy to me.

Actually, I think that this is a 1965 model as it has the exhaust on the side of the car and battery in the trunk. I think the battery was moved back to the engine compartment about 1/2 way through production in 1965. Great car......I don't think you can touch one in good condition for under $200K!
