ShelbyGT/SC
Looks like a great install job. Did you have to bend the plates a little or did they fit as is? Mine come apart at the corners. Over the winter, I will masking tape the corners and lean a board against them so they will stay.
07SGT4578
they fit perfectly as is. they seem to be on pretty good for now also. hopefully they will stay that way!
ShelbyGT/SC
You might want to consider doing something now like what I will do so that if yours does pop at the corners, dirt won't get in there. I will likely stick some more double tape in there somehow. Also, with your window tint, did you have them tint those quarter windwos too? I had my guy put a complete black tint on those windows so you don't see the tape at all from the inside. Roger posted some link to some inside panels that fit in there too. 07SGT4578
yes the quarter windows are tinted dark, i would hate to see all that tape. what post was that, and where is it?
ShelbyGT/SC
I think he mentioned it somewhere but he emailed me the link too. I found it easier in my email: http://www.modernspeedmachines.com/catalog...products_id/439 I think he ordered a set.

ilmor
I like those 1/4 panels, but I would not like the huge blind spot that must cause, personally. Just today I was at two intersections which, with that rear panel in place, I would not have been able to see what was coming.

07SGT4578
if you use your mirrors and adjust them properly there is no need for the rear quarter windows. im used to driving a truck where you have that blind spot right over your shoulder. theres no differance.................. Strawman
Is this the finished product, or are you painting them?
07SGT4578
Is this the finished product, or are you painting them? if your question was for me, they are the finished product. however i was thinking of making another pair and painting them to match the sripes and see how they look. i dont think they would be to awful hard to replicate. Dig-It
They would look cool painted the same color as the stripes. I think that last pic is the best. That's a good 3/4 view of a good looking Shelby Mustang!
