masterchiefs11
Just took my Shelby GT back to the dealer today for a detailing (detailers were not present during purchase 1 week ago) and to also get the floor mats they said were out of stock... Anyway the mats that they put in are black with a silver mustang logo running down the side. I want to know if the Shelby GT comes with its own set of mats and if they are cheating me out of the mats. The window sticker says something about Shelby floor mat badges, but I do not know if that means floor mats of some 'badge' that sticks to it or whatever. Any information would be appreciated. ShelbyPilot
Yes you are getting cheated. Your Shelby GT should come with floormats that have a billet "SHELBY" badge that is rivited onto them just about in the same place as the running horse you wrote of. I purchased those floormats for everyday use, cost like $70. The Shelby floormats are unique to the Shelby GT and are one set per car. No more than that; so I was told when I picked my car up at SAI. I strongly suggest buying an everyday set of floormats.

Mine were in the trunk. However, you aren't missing much. The mats you can buy from SPP are much nicer, but are too expensive for everyday use. I bought the all weather running horse mats for everyday use. I expect the only time I would use the expensive SSP mats is if I competed in car shows (which I don't), so I havent' been able to justify geting them yet. Maybe someday I get new mats after I buy some other stuff first.

BriMac
Steve, Sounds like you may have gotten cheated too. Like SoCal stated, they should be a billet badge riveted to the mat. Bought cheap set from WallyWorld for mine for everyday use, and put the originals in a closet and only pull them out when I the show car.

waterguy959
Can you say RIPPED OFF! Oh but I am sure it was a reasonable oversight, just pure sloppiness. Get the right ones and don't stop pressing until they give them to you. Good luck and congrats on the car.
