stump_breaker
Went to the dealership today to check on some things and when I came out there was a yellow Mustang - 3rd gen?, the one prior to this body style - coming from the local Wally World. He sees the Shelby across the road and I hear him revving the engine. No mufflers just straight pipes. Anyway the light turns green and I make a left. He pulls out and I can hear him trying to catch up with me. Mind you I'm not running. It's heavy traffic and I'm just going with the flow at about 30 mph. I stop at a light and he is about 4 cars behind in the middle lane. Light changes green and I turn onto the main road still not running. There is a time and place for everything and this was neither. After I go 200' or so he "buzzes" me, gets about 2 cars in front of me and then slams the brakes because of traffic. Now I'm thinking "what an idiot". He gets an opening and goes on acting like some sort of displaced Indy driver weaving in and out of traffic. I let him go and think it's over; the little boy has gone bye-bye. I go through town and pull into the local Taco Bell for a burrito. Coming out of the drive through THERE HE IS AGAIN sitting at an adjacent street waiting on me to pull out. This is not coincidence, he is actually sitting and waiting. Next thing I know he punches it and flies by me again. I'm parked in the parking lot waiting to pull out and he goes by the nose of the car hauling a$$. I just let him go again thinking what a retard. Guys like that cause trouble and give a bad name to everyone. I love to find him at the right place and time and give him a good spanking if you know what I mean but he is the type who is too reckless to prove he has a large pee-pee. I'm sure he's telling his buddies about how he scared the big bad Shelby.
mccoystudio_merged
Try keeping a listing card/flyer for the local drag circut and give it to him next time you see him...or better yet ask if he wants to meet for a track day excursion on a road course. Really creepy on the street to be stalked. BTW you should see the fools come out when you ride a new R1 around. haha I was being stalked by a 69 Chevelle on a lonley unbusy road at night and lets just say that after he caught up on the straights he never saw me again after the first turns. :D

I am sooooooooooo excited! And to top it all my wife went to school with the guy building it and knows him.

CrazyDave_merged
I had a chick driving a 2005-6 Stang GT beep at me to get my attention. Her Stang had a racing stripe and it was pretty. Too bad she was not. Good thing I could outrun her if I had to.
SWEDESHELBY1
Stumpybreaker - You have class and showed it. Dont let anyone race your car unless it is totally worth it and you KNOW you can spank him. Having a Shelby, everyone and their brother wants to beat us, so it is better to know your better than to risk anything else. Good job and a lot of class! You sound like my wife.....what a jerk, what an idiot and lets not forget, oh I'm impressed! Fortunately for us nobody seems to want to mess with us. The car has show and go. but I'm not going to waste the gas just to prove it to some punk/idiot. Better to take the attitude, "you wish you had this car". CrazyDave_merged
Can't you turn off the magnetic chick attracting tractor beam?? :D Yes, beam has an on/off switch, it's called the ignition. Just need to be careful where it's pointed.
ShelbyGT/SC
Boy I don't know Stump. It takes some real strength to be able to hold back like that. I don't know how much longer you'll be able to hold back, especially since the decision is S/C vs roof LOL.

ShelbyCobra826
Good job, Stump. Some people are just plain stupid. I had a kid in a red Z28 try to bait me into racing for about 10 - 15 miles going north on US70 today. Finally, he slows down to the point where I had to pull into the left lane to pass him about 1 mile before my exit, and he got beside me and matched my speed so as not to allow me back in the right lane... ...so I dropped it down to fourth and hit the gas. Of course, he did the same and took off like a shot. I figure he had hit about 100 before he looked back and realized that I not accelerated more than 10 mph but had simply baited him to move out of my way before I slid in behind him and exited. Stupid.
