Lynnwood Rotary Car Show

Went to this car show on 8/5, Sunday, supposed to be this nationally televised vehicle show on the speed channel. It was only their second time for this event and it showed. About 101 vehicles showed, one porta potty, 2 garbage cans with a 20.00 entry fee. Was probably the most unorganized car show I've been to. There were no classes, no sections by year or otherwise. Flyer said open to all cars, but should have been pre-72 cars. There only 4 2001 or later cars. Some of the restoration and customizing was incredible. But the sponsors of the trophys picked there favorites. I was dumbfounded by some of their choices. There was 3 or 4, '55 thru '57 Chevy's that were absolutely flawless. No trophy for them. There was a '65 Mustang that looked great from 65 feet, but up close and personal the rust was just painted over, but won a trophy. I knew as soon as we got there we didn't stand a chance. People were really impressed with the Shelby. They did film the car, but who knows if it will be on TV. Oh well, next time we'll do our homework a little better. But it was fun to watch peoples expressions and hear their comments. What I find really funny, is the Corvette guys really liked this car. You can freeze the slide show, look at the Chevy with the white leather interior. Incedilble!!!!!!!!!!! :rolleyes:

The Chevy with the white leather int is out of West Seattle I think. If its the same car as the one I am thinking you are referring to. I went to the guys house and man you should see the trophy collection. It is an all pro built car that is totally sano. I am in W. Sea and have a 56 210 as well. I am interested in your sc set up see my sc post. Great pics and great car btw. Thanks for sharing your Lynnwood experience.
