SWEDESHELBY1
Had the 20" Chrome Razors with 255 x 35 x 20 tires all around today, they look incredible!! I talked to Dave & Sherri about their experience and they said the car holds the chrome well, I agree 100%. Next are the brake ducts, driving lights, big brakes/rotors and a polished SC. (When SAI can do it as I want the documentation to follow the car) B) Thanks Dave & Sherri for helping me on this one! Swede

Part # 698S-296-6 with 6" back spacing?
SWEDESHELBY1
Swede, are these the ones you purchased? Part # 698S-296-6 with 6" back spacing? Yes that is the exact wheel. They have 6 inch back spacing and they are the Chrome 20" Razors with the word" SHELBY" inscribed in one the the 5 fins of the wheel with the black and silver Shelby logo in the center cap. They also have the rivets too which ties in with the hood scoop. I have only seen these once on Dave & Sherri's car and now mine and they are indescribibly delicious! No really they are as nice in my opinion as any Razors out there, it is all about taste and i just happened to like the bling bling! NOTE: They will except the big brake package when I get it. You must have the 6 inch back space though.

I like the 20" black razors but thinking it may be too much black. I will add this: If you are a purest you probably would not like the chrome razor wheels. I like them but I have the GT500 spoiler with the SGT silver stripes that ties in the chrome look. If you perfer not to have the spoiler then the black razor with machined lip looks extremely hot and are more of a modern/traditional look except with the 20" wheels & tires. So since yesterday I have heard bad and good about the chrome so it is totally a personal issue here.

I really want them but with horrible roads around here I'm afraid the car will ride like a chuck wagon!...

I really want them but with horrible roads around here I'm afraid the car will ride like a chuck wagon!... OK the ride changed abit. What I really noticed was more road noise at first but after about 1 days driving I can not even hear it anymore. Other than that it really does not drive that hard on smooth roads , it seems to handle a bit better though with the wider track. Thanks for the post stumpybreaker

switch
Is the 6" backspacing the norm for our cars? What exactly is the difference between the different inch backspacing? I'm looking at the black razors and want to get the correctones, thanks.

When you call SPP, they explain it but I'm thinking somoeone else more qualified here can do so as well.

If you don't want your wheels to extend beyond your wheel well inner lip, then get the 40mm offset Razors (close to factory wheel offset). The 24mm offset razors will stick out beyond the wheel well inner lip. Check out this thread http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.p...highlight=razor 40mm (top) vs 24mm (bottom)

I am using 6.5 back spacing all around with a 255/35/20 & 275/35/20 and have plenty of room to go wider with-out extending past fender lip.101_cheesypoofs.wav

SWEDESHELBY1
Thanks guys. I really do like the look of the chrome wheel on this car and everyone that has looked at the SGT is also in agreeance. I can honestly say I would have never bought the chrome until I looked at Dave & Sherri's car and saw what I believe is the best looking wheel, in my opinion, on the SGT.
