mmcgrath100
I've been looking around, but other than Morris' dealership in GA and a few in the Ohio area, it seems there are slim pickings for Hertz models elsewhere. I know of one at a dealer here in Oregon, but they apparently still think it is 2006 and people are willing to pay Mannheim Auction prices. Any leads? Thanks in advance, Mike (in Portland)

I am barely able to convince my wife to let me buy one, but I don't know how she'd react if I had to fly to get it or buy and ship it. But I am sure I'm not alone in saying that you seem to be a class act - I just wish there were more dealers like that in my area. I may be in contact with you after all . . . . HARALD KELLEY
There is a GTH in the Autoguide September 27 (car shopper) Citrus Motors. The phone number on the add (866) 444-8934. The car is for sale $55,000. I tried the number, it was no good. It is a dealer is in southern California. Try calling Chino FoFord at (866) 384-3391. They may know the number. mmcgrath100
There are now at least two in the Seattle area listed under $45,000, but my cursory search of recent listings still shows that most NW dealers are holding firm at very high (comparatively) prices. When I asked two salesmen during my search, they were cocky and said they weren't interested in selling at national market prices - they disputed other dealers' offers and pretty much dared me to find a better deal (which I did - wasn't hard). It's too bad for West Coast buyers that most of the nice and reasonable priced cars are located 3,000 miles away.
