circleofsnakes
I'm almost certain they were GTs. I'll have another, better look when I pass by there again.
SWEDESHELBY1
I'm almost certain they were GTs. I'll have another, better look when I pass by there again. Hmmmm interesting. This is probably a "new" project that we are no privy to right now because there is nothing in the pipeline for grabber Orange. I know it is NOT a Boss because SVT would make those and Saleen has already made the Boss 302 Parenlli Jones Edition, very very interesting. But disgusting! Michael Morris
this might not have anything to do with the cars at shelby, but when the order bank first opened for the 08s the only car that you could drop ship to SAI was grabber orange. so my first thought was the the 08s SGT would be grabber orange. but we know that didnt happen. i think they might be doing something for the CA region. thanks michael

DeLa1Rob
The folks at SAI have been listening. Those Orange GTs are being updated with suggestions made by Michael Morris. They will feature Curb feelers at all 4 corners and will have a flower vase on the dash. The name of the car has yet to be determined, although Orange Crunch is rumored to be a favorite. If they sell well in California, Michael will have them imported to Georgia. robin
Webba
Michael I think you are right. I recall a Cali edition SGT only available in California. It has upgrades over the standard SGT....like the guage pod.....and thats it. And I am pretty sure it was in Grabber Orange.

RogerS
Another special project for SAI? Amy wrote in the "What if" thread, what if! Hmmmm. How about a "R" version similar to the Boss 302? More upgrades such as bigger 6 pot brakes, their "new" rear handling suspension pkg. (newly listed in performance parts with no photo), brake duct kit, rear window block off plates, Borla exhaust, Ford Racing headers, 3:90 gear set, forged wheels............hmmmmm what if? im4seven
When the order bank first opened grabber orange was the color that was available (as Michael said). When I tried to order it, it wouldn't let me. The error message said that it wasn't available to my region (northeast) As I recall it was only available to the California region, but I could be wrong. ShelbyGT/SC
Nope. Is that your house in the background with the car superimposed over it? If so, it kinda looks like Swede's house with the stonework.

ShelbyGT/SC
duh, they are YENKOS!! :P Finally! Chicken is the prize winner. It's too bad he passed on years ago. I suggested to Tasca months ago that they should start up some race wars again like in the 60's with the Mustang against the Camaro (when it comes out). Then I did some research and learned of Yenko's passing (I think in the 80's if I remember). It's too bad that no one ever kept his name going. AFBLUE
Can't think of any orange 1960s Shelbys. Grabber Orange Shelbys and the the Twister Special didn't come out until 1970.
