undercoating car

Wow, I have not heard that term in years. Cars today are built to resist rust so well. But still, if you plan to keep it for the long term and live in the heavy salt zones, that may not be a bad idea. I don't want to do it just because the undercoat stuff is so nasty, and would not be so great on a show car.

I hadn't heard that term in years either, but you are right, that stuff looks horrible. I definately would not put it on my car if I lived up north, and if I did live up north, it wouldn't see snow :P

I think I'll move my whole family (including parents, in-laws, brothers, sisters...) just so my car won't rust LOL.

No, to be honest, I have heard of some of the GT500 guys complaining of rust already on their cars. I hope some chime in on the subject. I know one person who lives about 3 miles from me with a GT500 who had to do something to his car but I don't recall the specifics.

well knowing that my car will never see rain or snow i probably will leave it as is

thanks :)

I'm with you, we get plenty of snow and a lot of salt on the roads (our county salts more than they plow  ), but my car will simply see it through the garage window.
