Think the tape will Hold?? Hey, living down south you should know how reliable "Duck Tape" is, it will hold anything together heat, cold rain or shine! I'm with you though, I've never had good luck with tape adhesives inside a hot interior. Hope there is another option. Anybody else heard about mounting options? RogerS
Unfortunately it is held on with double sided tape. I asked this question to SAI prior to opting for the gauge cluster. Decided to go with an A pillar pod from Speed of Sound LLC. It uses a factory A pillar in correct color with their patented pods. Very slick and looks factory. One would think Shelby would at least try and make this a bit more robust. Very dissapointing!
gtplumber_merged
Double sided tape? What a joke! One would think Shelby would at least try and make this a bit more robust. Very dissapointing! How about the wiring? What is done with that? Where is it routed? I have bought quite a bit of this afermarket stuff from SPP and some of it could be done much better in my opinion. RogerS
There is a new and improved pod that fits much better and tighter I am told. But I think the double sided tape is still there. Wiring should be under the dash or in the front of the dash.
amyb
The tape is just a extra fit piece, the new dash pod is secure and looks good. If you dont like it, dont buy it, but don't trash something you have never seen in person. Amy

I for one still have things messed up with SPP. They owe me credits, there is stuff that I have still not gotten that I paid for along time ago. My debit card was charged the other day by SPP and I still don't know what that was for. We have to get this stuff through the mail so how do we know what it is going to be like, all we see is pictures. We depend on your company to give us quality and that is what we expect to have with our hard earned money. Also we just can't walk into SPP unless we live close enough to do an exchange or show you what is exactly wrong with a product. You created this forum for us to view our opinions and if you don't want your products getting bad reviews then straighten it out. I haven't seen one apology on this forum from anyone at SPP for all the messed up stuff that has happened and there are alot of issues. I know sometimes there is unecessary complaining but there is also a lot of necessary complaining.

As an operations manager, I have to deal with customer feedback on a daily basis. I can tell you that it is not always good feedback.

gtplumber_merged
Thank you Amy, I couldn't have said it better. 07sgt2307, obviously you haven't had any issues with any aftermarket products or service but alot of us have and when you get products that do not seem to work right you are leary of purchasing another product by them. the gauge cluster costs almost 600.00 we want to make sure before we spend that much money that it is a good product and that it stays attached. It really looks awesome!
