ShelbyCobra826
So, I leave first thing tomorrow morning for St. Louis, then off to Vegas Thursday evening. I'll be at SAI on Friday, and will post pics upon my return. Maybe someone at SAI will tell me how many SGTs have been received... Anybody else going to be there then??? ShelbyGT/SC
Have a great time. Will be the time of your life. I recommend it for everyone. Be sure to pick up some tee shirts and other fun stuff. Hope you get to rent a Hertz. Don't let them tell you there are none left. They have 20 of them at the Vegas airport. Be sure to be there at 10:30AM for the tour! I was there a couple of weeks ago. At that point there were 1600-1900 S-GTs awaiting conversion and another 100 cars waiting for the mod shop. They are also in the middle of GT-H convertible conversions. You may be able to rent one of those at the airport!

Already reserved...now if I can just figure out how to defeat the traction control... You'll enjoy yourself. Be sure to be there at 10:30AM for the tour! I was there a couple of weeks ago. I'll be there by 8:00, but I'm not sure that I can say why now...and yes, I'll definitely be doing the tour and buying shirts for myself and others. I'm surprised about the convertibles, but this is also what Michael Morris had mentioned. I thought that those would be 2008s, which aren't out yet, but then again I do pay more attention to the GT news than the GT-H news, so I very well may be wrong. There were several rows of completed cars awaiting shipment when I was there. Iwas told that they would be in the rental fleet within a couple of weeks on 6/8. I would assume that Las Vegas would be among the first to have the 'Verts.
ShelbyPilot
I was told by another Mustang guy at work that he saw a GT-H convertible in LA a few days ago.
AFBLUE
I was there a couple of weeks ago. At that point there were 1600-1900 S-GTs awaiting conversion Wow! So if they have done ~4000 conversion in 5.5 months (just a wag on my part), it's going to take them another 2.5 months to complete the rest of the 2007s (assuming no more show up after the 1600-1900 that you saw). I guess that's why they won't start 2008 SGT conversions until September.

Friday is catch up day for those techs that didn't meet their quota for the week. They are planning on being done by the end of July.

Remember now...it's almost 110 degrees here in the desert. Convertibles send people to the hospital with heat exhaustion and/or 3rd degree sunburns! :D Have fun! I'll be looking for you on the roads!
