Can you list all of the cars you have owned?

Absolutely!!!

I loved my 04 Mach 1. I rented a GT-H on a one day business trip to LA (Burbank) and really liked it, too. But, I hemmed and hawed about buying the SGT.

Then I test drove one and never looked back!!:lol:

I love it. :D One of my first cars as a kid was a 64 1/2 Mustang Coupe in the most attractive of colors I might add. Pimento Orange  I' ve had my share of other's including a 03 Boxster S great car but over engineered. Nothing like good ole Detriot Horsepower and that Pony...... I think they call it "Pony Pride"

:lol::lol::lol:

Yes. I agree. There is nothing like the sound of a throaty V8.

The Boxster S is a nice car. But like you said, over engineered. The 928's were nice, but too tech-y to the extreme. It is hard to push those cars on the street, unless you have a death wish.

I really like the light, agile (and, of course, tail happy) early 911's. I should have never sold the 1972 911S. <_<

Just like many of us Waldo, looking at your list, bet you wish you had some of them back! If we only knew.

So sad isn't it? I think I got 3k for my 69 Mach 1 428 SCJ and it was a nice car lol probably one of 500 or so drag packs I think. Stuff just wasn't worth anything in those days. My dad and uncle were partners in the car bussiness and they have been stashing cars in they're collections since those days, its been good to them :)

Seeing how we have MANY new members I thought it would be a great idea to go back in time. On two fronts, this post is from the "original Shelby Autos Forum" and a chance for all of our new memebers to reflect back in time. It was a very interesting thread. Time to bring it back.

Post away.

Here's my list (dates may be off a bit)

1985-1991 76 Toyota Celica GT V6.

1991-1993 no car lived aboard big haze gray ship.

1993-1995 93 Ford escort wagon.

1995-1997 65 Mustang coupe Metalic sky blue 289 V8 cherry bombs american racing torque thrust rims etc...

1997-2000 97 Mustang GT forrest green 5 speed(mostly stock)

1998-1998 96 Mustang GT Vert white 5 speed(mostly stock)

2000-2001 93 Jeep cherokee sport

2001-2004 95 Mustang V6 forest green 5 speed

2004-2008 93 Ford explorer xlt

2008- 07 Shelby GT Black 5 speed

2008- 06 Mustang Vert V6 Metalic sky blue 5 speed

So 10 cars in my life 6 mustangs, what can I say I am a Mustang man!

I lost 2 too wrecks (not at fault) The 65 was wrecked by a honda tuner car running a red light. I swerved to avoid ate a fire hydrant and he kept going (I wish I had hit his dumb a$$ instead).

The 97 GT was lost to a woman making a high speed left turn (against the light) smashing the car ahead of me and the remains of both cars spun into my car which had stopped by this time. Car was unrecognizable but (thanks to God and the Ford motor company) I walked away.

No other wrecks, the white GT vert was returned to the dealer after they tried to tack on an additional $5,000 after I had the car for a month.

My bank alerted me, I returned the car and my chief spread the word about the lot to the other chiefs in the fleet (they didn't stay open much longer). The 95 v6 was nothin much.. I traded it for the explorer.

I love my cars the Shelby is totally bitchin and the V6 is great (ford has vastly improved the V6).

86 pontiac 6000

84 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe

89 Thunderbird SC

07 Shelby GT

Quite the jump from my second newest car huh, haha, SC still runs great though. Use it for mileage runs at work to keep most of it off of the SGT, and it's still quicker than most of the crap around my town. Top speed easily rivals the SGT as well...

Thanks Roger. I'm so excited about the Challenger. It's been my favorite car since I was a kid. I couldn't believe I was able to own a new Shelby when I got it, and now there's a new Challenger on the way. I may never buy another car again.
