yamahar1
I've done the research, and I can tell you what you will get with each option code. What is the code for a cloth top, don't see it listed on the FORD VEHICLES site? Also, can you get the "racing" pedals or the engine cover separatly without the fake hood scoop? Do you know if the cloth top has any drawbacks: bird crap, bug juice, tree sap? I have been asking this, but no one seems to have knowledge about the cloth top. I am considering it for my next mustang vertible. Thanks ahead of time for any info.

The aluminum pedal covers I also imagine can be ordered, but I'd pay the $395 for the Premier Trim, it's totally worth it. I never had any problems with a cloth top on a 2005 T-Bird vert but haven't seen this new one for 07's T's.

I don't know how to get the picture to show up in the post, I have not added any web pics to web forums before, but I attached some that you might like. Do you know how to just make them show up in the post? They are not porno, but tasteful pics of beautiful women,,,What can I say, I like Mustangs, motorcycles, and asian women.....later PS. I guess it showed up in the post. Nice, hey, I don't discriminate, I don't just love asian women, but those are some of my favorites. Later. Tres Wright
86C/CA Black Cloth Roof You can get the engine cover separately, I don't have the part number handy but can order from Ford Parts. The aluminum pedal covers I also imagine can be ordered, but I'd pay the $395 for the Premier Trim, it's totally worth it. For being the self-proclaimed expert you're off to a pretty lousy start! So you're THE MAN, but you don't even know parts numbers or whether the pedal covers can be bought separately? LOL! The answer is you cannot get these parts separately as factory options, the parts have to be ordered with certain packages. To get the engine cover you must get the GT Appearance Group which also comes with the hood scoop and rolled exhaust tips. To get the pedal covers you have to order the Premier Trim Package or Interior Sport Appearance Package. Now you CAN buy these parts separately from Ford as replacement parts if you are willing to either install them yourself or pay to have them installed.... For those interested in the engine cover by itself, see this thread: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=35851 If you have an 05/ 06, note that you'll need to order a couple of studs as well. The studs come stock on the 07's. On the pedal covers, for some crazy reason Ford will only sell the ENTIRE throttle pedal/ arm assembly! Yup, you have to buy the whole thing just to get the covers. Here is what you have to buy if you get it from Ford: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=50387 Fortunately, the company that makes these covers for Ford also sells them outside of Ford. You can buy them on the CDC web site here: http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com/catal...isplay/686.html Or check this thread for info on buying them off of eBay from the same company for even less: http://www.mustangforums.com/m_1655318/tm.htm
Guest evilchris
Was the flame necessary? Do you know how to READ? I said "OPTIONS", ie factory options. I did not say I knew much about getting package parts separately and self installing. Go walk in front of a bus.
mrfarmdog
I've done the research, and I can tell you what you will get with each option code. evilchris - on the Shelby options guide there is one line under MISC that says COV REQUIRED ..... 79V What does this mean? Also I was on the phone with customer service today checking on my order and they said that the material hold I was on was due to them having to order leather interior... I am not certain what the differences are between std interior and premium interior even though I have read the section guide. Does anyone have pics that compare the two? Finally are there any options that are available that are not covered under the options guide in the download section of this site? That version was published in March and I was curious if there are new options that I am not aware of. FYI - I ordered a vert - Vista Blue / Tungston stripes, Shaker 500 (I want my car as soon as it can get here so opted not to order 1000), Sirus, premium interior. Thanks for your help!
