daytonprowler_merged Posted April 21, 2007 Report Share Posted April 21, 2007 I drove my SGT today for the first time on the highway. Got up to 70 in 5th gear and the rear end has a whine. Let off the gas and goes away. The car has about 125 miles on it. I had to have the ring and pinion gear replaced in my 2004 TBird with less than 10,000 miles on it. I would have the dealer look at it under warranty. Sounds like it's on the drive side but not the coast so it should be minor, hopefully. Rude, but funny!
