68FastbackGT
Hey everyone!! I'm new to this forum as a member. GTHFan recommended I post my Shelby GT-H experience. I still own my first car, a 1968 Mustang GT Fastback. I've owned it now for 28 years. I've been an Mustang Club of America member for 28 years too... joined the MCA when I was 15 years old. In high school I wanted a Shelby...but it's hard to buy one when you're 17 years old, so I built a clone in 1981 using a 1967 Fastback. I bought a real 1968 Shelby GT350 in 1985...for $6700, but couldn't keep it very long. Anyway, click on the link below to read about my 2006 Shelby GT-H experience. It was something that me and my family will never forget!!! I had the opportunity to visit the Shelby American facility TWICE this year and took the tour on both visits!! After seeing the 2006 Shelby GT-H, I knew I'd have to rent one!! Many thanks to all of the folks at Shelby American for making this happen! It is a great Shelby!! Hopefully once these Shelbys make it to the open market, we'll have an opportunity to buy one. http://www.firebirdtransamparts.com/mustan...maggiehertz.htm If you want to read more about my Mustang(s) you can go to my website and then click on the "Hoghead Garage" and you'll find stories and pictures.
