GT500 Articles with humor

Recommended Posts

Here are some articles I've stumbled across (yes, I'm clumsy :hysterical: ).

1)Mustang 5.0 magazine.

The funny thing here is that there is a link at the top that says "Discount Pricing". :hysterical: . Oh I'm sure clicking on that link will guarantee you a price below MSRP. For those of us who like oversimplified cartoons, there is a pic of the internals of the supercharger with some tech info.

2) GT500.org

This site has absolutely NOTHING to do with the Shelby car, but what I found funny was the domain of .org indicating this is "not for profit". :hysterical: Hard to imagine anything with the words GT500 in it having no profit associated with it.

3) Worldcarfans

Note the link near the top right that says "Compare multiple quotes on a new Shelby Mustang from local dealers". :hysterical::hysterical:

4) Family Car magazine

The funniest one is this last one....not the article, but the fact that it's from a web site called "The Family Car" magazine. :hysterical2: . Now THAT is funny IMO. That's like calling a Cadillac Cimmaron a "luxury" car. :hysterical: (I used to be an auto tech, and for those of you who don't know, the Cimmaron was the same chassis/suspension as a Cavalier, only had upgraded interior and different badging/taillights/etc. I had to bite my tongue when working on these cars and the customer was around. "Sir, you need a new tie rod. I've got this Chevy Cavalier part over here that will fit perfectly. :hysterical: ) Now I realize that the GT500 has four seats...so I guess compared to a Corvette it might be considered a "family" car, but come on...really.
