COBRA CRUIZER
I contacted VOPC today and while the nice lady on the phone was about to update me on my Shelby, She informed me that she had to evacuate the building due to a fire. I really hope those people are O.K.

mcle
That would be the phonelines on fire from all the calls from non Ford employees.
BadTony
could also be that fire that was lit under there asses by management to provide automated info regarding Shelby inquiries? Nah , maybe not, I'll have to believe that when I see it.

BadTony
Ive said it once and I'll say it again, Ford VOPC management has decided to simply just wave the middle finger at all who request a VOPC automated response with regards to the Shelby

What was your source? Or are you only ASSUMING this? Thanks
BadTony
actions (or in this case, lack of actions) speak louder than words my friend. No assumptions needed. If they do end up fixing this, great , because that's what they should do. However if things remain status quo, then it just bolsters my point. I hope they fix it, I really do. It's just that I won't hold my breath or get any more ticked at Ford if they don't. I'll just believe it when I see it.
68fastback
I was thinking Ford might have the GT500 off VOPC precisely because they want a live person to field status requests for the GT500 given all the high emotion it's generated (positives of the car and negatives of the dealer ADMs/treatment, etc). I don't know that's the case, but if I was the manager of the VOPC I think real ears can get insight that an automated system cannot, even though we'd all love an easy way of calling (say, 25 times/day or so) to see how our 'baby' is doing I've gotta believe it will be on the systems as soon as production settles-in over the summer... remember we're still very early-on right now. BadTony
That would be great, but I think you are giving the management too much credit. Although Ford has intelligent and capable management, when something does not work, it is usually by design and intentional, otherwise they would fix the problem

Although Ford has intelligent and capable management, when something does not work, it is usually by design and intentional, otherwise they would fix the problem exactly.... 'broken' by design right now, I think. .
