horse power

Recommended Posts

with this site being the Shelby resouce it is made me come to you guys for this question. Since I am not able to find me an 2007 Shelby I have decided to get just a standard Grabber Orange GT vert.

I know with all of the Pony junkies that visit this site I would be able to get some insite.

I would like to know the most efective way and most cost effective way to increase the Horse Power on mt new Mustang? I really don't need 500hp but I would like to speed the girl up.

What do you guys suggest? :shift:

The roush super charger is way over priced as far as the results it gives... The kb supercharger gets 450 to the rear wheels on a stock 05/06 stang. I know a guy thathas all the bolt on's and gears and makes 482 at the wheels. With the much horse power on the stock block you can't ever EVER ride on the rev limiter or you will be sending rods and pistons through the hood. 450 to the ground is the end of the safe point. Anyways:

Full exaust from the headers down picks up some nice rear wheel horses

Headers: http://mustangtuning.com/slpheaders.html

X-pipe ( no cats ): http://mustangtuning.com/slp-x-pipe-2005.html

Cat back exaust : http://mustangtuning.com/magnaflow-magnapa...ck-2005-gt.html

your looking at 20 + rwhp

A cold air kit just pick one they all work the same: http://mustangtuning.com/bcoldairkitsb.html

pully's: http://mustangtuning.com/st20copu3.html

and a tuner to get the best out of your mod's: http://mustangtuning.com/sct-xcalibrator-2.html

And the best bang for the buck GEAR: http://blowbyracing.com/bbr410.html

With all that you would maybe se 320 -330 at the rear wheels, with a 350 fly wheel horse amount.

So stock dyno is around 280- 290 so your makeing some nice numbers if you do ALL the bolt ons
