smoothy
This really sucks, I haven't heard from my dealer about pricing yet so I dropped the sales manager an email today and got back 'pricing is currently $10k over MSRP'. My bill of sale says 'price TBD' but when I asked about that he said he couldn't price above MSRP. I even asked the salesperson who agreed pricing couldn't be above MSRP. Now I'm in a postition where he has told me in effect 'take it or leave it', I'm #9 so wouldnt get it until next March anyways. In his reply to my reply he denies saying anything about pricing so its his word against mine. What a crock. Through family connections I've been given the name of someone in Ford to write to, hope it will help. Anyone know a dealer that has '07s or early '08s available at MSRP? Sorry, this has got me into a real foul mood.

Your initial Purchase Agreement from last year concerns me though. Get a Lawyer involved. It worked for SVTPower.

After he told me, the salesperson told me (seperately) and even the GM at another dealer all told me he's not allowed to price above MSRP, I didn't think the wording was a huge issue. I've already talked to my lawyer but he does real estate law and needs to talk to one of his partners who deals in contract law. Between him and my letter to the Ford VP-guy, we will see what happens. This would really suck if I had to drop my plans of a GT500 all because the dealer pulls a fast one. BTW I noticed he waited until after the '07s are just about sold out to let me know about his pricing. I wonder if others buying from the dealership know (johnnyvax you there?) I'll consider it worth it and a win for both of us. Funny though, they told us only us two and one other complained about the $5000................what??? Others were happy to pay for it???? Rich or stupid ??? By the way, I did do a long complaint email to Ford of Canada..............their long reply basically said that they couldn't have helped..........dealer can charge the SVT fee and as much as they want.
