All i want is a nice underfolder AK for my collection. Can you help?

sar1xj2.jpg

There are some awesome assault weapons availablae right now. I am getting catalogs on a weekly basis. Pm me with exactly what you are looking for and I will see what I can do.

Jim the laws in NC are very pro-gun. Unfortunately you have to buy handguns in the state where you live. Yet another reason to get out of Cali.

A snubby S&W mod. 19 (1st gen. w/cartridge rim cuts in the cylinder) .357 mag. in a Safariland shoulder holster, fully worked action with low profile sights and molded wood grips; intended for 7 yard or less close combat situations, the possibility of a malfunction with this revolver is almost nonexistant. A Beratta mod. 3032 Tomcat .32 cal. in a ankle holster makes a good back-up piece and a very easily concealed option when going out on the town with my wife.

Do I carry when driving my GT500? It depends on where I'm going and how I intend to drive; if I'm crusing in the city I will consider it, if I'm out for a Racer-X speed run I won't.

Ya I know, calli really sucks.

Its easyer to list the reason to live in calli listing reason to leave is a never ending list.

1. family the wife wont leave cause of her mom.

2. the weather, but the weather factor is getting old. But can't pull here away from her family.

If you want a real nice underfolder AK get a Polish AK47 underfolder parts kit and a Nodak spud receiver then have Ted Marshall or Piece of History firearms assemble them.

I dont think you can ever beat a nice parts kit build.

Stay away from the century Yugo underfolders they sometimes have sewer pipe bores as well as wobly underfolder stocks.

I just spent big bucks on a real Russian AK parts kit that was on Gunbroker. I love AKs!

Also anyone got a HK USP 45f?

I love those if they only let me carry in California.

California guns laws are ridiculous....I think on the right day I could get arrested for shooting my son with a super soaker here in Cali :hysterical2:

Especially if you're in a drought condition. After spending 11+ years there, I don't remember one of them that we didn't have a drought condition. I finally escaped 8 years ago.

Yes Cali sucks, I have to build all my AKs either with no pistol grip or with a fixed ten round magazine.

I do not want to leave Cali since I grew up here, own nice property as well the nice climate you cannot find elsewhere.

Politically this is the frontlines and what happens in this state happens everywhere else next, I always beleived if there ever was a revolt or new civil war it would start in this state. Cali seems to test totaltarian state laws to see how far our federal government can push the rest of the country with upcoming federal laws.

I will not leave my home a political refugee but I will stay to try and make it better even though it seams futile.

I used to think like you, still do really, and you are right the weather is great. Sunshine to snow in only a 2 to 4hr drive, how great is that. I was born and raised here as well. I have been to just about every other state and can say calli is not the great state it wants everyone to think it is. The cons far out weigh the great weather, and weather is the only thing calli has left in its favor.

Problem there are not enough people like us left in this forsaken state to make a difference. Most people left in calli are brain dead Zombie that do what ever they are told without question. It’s mind over matter, NO Mind NO Matter.

I to own land here and am dumping it. Dumped apts. in SF. because to the stupid socialist style government. I still have undeveloped land left and can't wait to dump it as well. In calli you don't own the land any more you only pay to hold the title to it. Try to improve it or build on it and some part of state government steps in and if you don't pay them off you get nowhere.

I did my share of trying to make this place a better place, I'm to old to continue wasting my time for a lost cause. Time to do what so many people & businesses’; large and small are doing, leave.

Let me correct one statement calli is not really a socialist state it more like a fascist state, they still encourage you to own a business they just take everything you make - you own the business, but work for the state. Freedom of choice is still alive and strong in calli only politicians have added new twist.

You are still free to do what you want just don't get caught cause everything is illegal in calli.

Self defense is still legal its our constitutional right, just don't get caught defending your self in your own home, it's not a crime but you can go to jail or be sued by the criminal for doing it.

Good luck to you, I am glad you are having good luck here. I do hope things change here and I'd love to stay and/ or be part of the revolution if it were to every really happen, not likely in my life time.

Most of all, my family is to important to me, not to get them out of calli. Just a matter of timimg.

I got hit (Robbed) last night also. I left my office at 6:55 to go to a Mustang GTG at a local fast food place. I left there at about 8:00 to go watch the game. I came to my office at about 6:00 this morning, I'm one of those that can't sleep in the mornings, even on Sundays. The front door lock was locked but it wasn't locked. Either I didn't close the door all the way when I locked it or someone I've given a key to in the Past hit me. I'm 99% sure I locked it properly. They took my $2,800 2yo, State of the Art (at that time) Lap Top. Password protected. It has nothing important on it. No Bills, Statements or even Current Proposals. I use it to get on the internet. The one I'm on is exactly like it, bought the same day and they left it. They took 2 Camcorders $700.00, My DeWalt Dumpy Level $350.00. A DeWalt circular saw $150.00 My Point and shoot Kodak Camera $120.00. And they took but Dropped a change counter with about $3.00 in in change in it. They had to reach over a roll of Quarters ($10.00 They left them) Just rolled to get the camcorders. They left all the Power cords to the Electronic Equipment. They left the Legs to the Level. I’ve got the SN to everything and have already given them to the police.

Here’s the Bad part. I left a key to my 06 Super Duty on my desk, it had a Trailer Hooked and locked to it. I started to but decided not to take my S&W Model 908 9mm ($450.00) with me to the GTG. I though to myself you don’t need to take that, you know everyone there. I locked the door to the truck with the KEY FOB, You guessed it, they got it (the Gun) and 17 rounds.

Hey Mobey, sorry you got hit, that sucks especially losing a gun. It's bad enough to have it stolen but worse knowing it's probably being used in more crimes. We can always hope for Karma for those who stole from you.

I left the house today unarmed (i can't remember the last time i did...i felt naked) but i was going in the woods with a bunch of friends to play some paintball.

Wow, how did I miss this thread? I am a gun dealer and own 3 shops in NC. I also have a concealed handgun permit and carry my handgun everywhere? I carry a titanium Taurus 357 snubnose. I have read alot of you guys saying you live in a "safe area". I am here to tell you it only takes needing your gun once and having it to make up for the inconveniance of carrying it for years. Just a few months ago I had a confrontation with what I can only guess was a drugged up idiot. He pulled a 12" knife on me and came at me with bad intentions. I instictively pulled my weapon and shudder to think what would have happened if I had decided not to carry that day. I'm not a gun nut, but I think that if every able-bodied American carried a weapon the country would be a much safer place. Just my red-blooded humble opinion.

WELL spoken. .357 Ruger 6" full shroud but not always. This most makes me think I should always keep it there.

Here in Louisiana my car is considered an extension of my home I believe. I am

able to carry a loaded weapon in my glove box legally. Or under my seat or between

the seat and the e-brake you get the point, as long as I own it and am allowed to own firearms,

and auto's by law.

Cool huh?

Can you carry it concealed like that without a concealed weapons permit? I don't think we can do that here in Arkansas. If I'm carrying then it will be sitting out in plain view unless parked.

We can in Texas as well. The vehicle is considered your "domain".

Now, don't get mad, but..........

There is a fundamental difference between our two countries............

That is something that doesn't even exist in Canada,

people walking and driving around with guns, and even

thinking of it. We don't chose not to, it just doesn't occur

to us to even consider it.:shrug::shrug::shrug::shrug:

Yes, I like and own guns. Have all my life, and yes I have a permit to carry, and do. My new addition is M82 50 cal. It just seemed to go so well with the new black vert GT500. :happy feet:

Is that the Barrett? Here in California, we (of course) made that gun illegal as of January 1, 2007. And I was getting close to talking the wife into adding to our collection right about that time. Very nice weapon. Jim

Yep the M82 1A 107 with tactical scope. I figure it will be a fun weapon to fire for a while and a very good investment. Heavy though, nearly 40 pounds wet.

Nice piece! I'd like to see a carjacker stare down the business end of that firepower and not piss himself. :hysterical2:

I've had my CCW for years and refuse to be a victim.

For those of you who don't carry, ask yourself one question.

Do criminals attack cops? No because criminals know all cops carry guns and all criminals are cowards.

These cowards only attack people who can't defend themselves. If everyone took it upon themselves to carry, crime would go way down. IMHO

NOW HERE'S WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. GUYS TALKING ABOUT GUNS AND CARS. NOW WE JUST NEED SOME BIKINI CLADED WOMEN; HOORAH !!!!!

NOW ON A MORE SERIOUS NOTE. I HAVE BEEN A GUN OWNER, COLLECTOR SINCE A KID STARTING WITH AN ASSORTMENT OF BB GUNS AND CO2 POWER HAND GUNS ON TO FULL AUTO MACHINEGUNS. FROM THE START EDUCATION IS AT THE HEART OF OWNERSHIP. IF YOU ARE EDUCATED YOU WILL BE SAFE AND HOPEFULLY NEVER HAVE TO PULL YOUR WEAPON UNLESS YOU ARE READY TO USE IT. THAT BEING SAID I HAVE HAD A CCW SINCE 2003 AND HAVE LIVED IN THE DETRIOT AND MIAMI AREAS AND HAVE NEVER HAD TO PULL MY WEAPONS.

ONLY ON ONE OCCASSION IT WAS SEPT. 2006 WHEN IN PONTIAC MICHIGAN MY 72 SS NOVA STALLED IN FRONT OF AN ABANDONED BUILDING AND COULD NOT BE RESTARTED. IT WAS ABOUT 3:00 PM IN THE AFTERNOON AND AS I WAITED FOR THE TOW TRUCK. I THEN WAS APPROACHED BY TWO INDIVIDUALS THAT HAD COME FROM THE INSIDE OF THE ABANDONED BUILDING WHO ASKED ME

" WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY TOWN". IT WAS AT THIS MOMENT I REALIZE THAT I WAS IN SERIOUS TROUBLE. I QUICKLY MOVE FROM OUT IN FRONT OF THE OPEN HOOD OF MY NOVA TO THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE CAR FROM THE INDIVIDUALS, AND RESPONSED BY LIFTING MY SWEATSHIRT TO EXPOSE MY GLOCK 17 WITH A 35 ROUND EXTENDED CLIP; AND THEN RESPONED BY SAYING " THIS IS WHAT I AM DOING HERE. THEY QUICK SAID " WE DON'T WANT NO PROBLEMS "; AND THEY LEFT .

THIS IS NOT WHERE THE STORY ENDS; MY COMPANY TOW TRUCK FINALLY ARRIVED. THEN WE PROCEEDED DOWN THE STREET TO THE UPHOLSTERY SHOP; MY INTENDED DESTINATION FOR MY CAR. I WENT INSIDE; IT WAS AT THIS TIME I WAS INFORMED BY THE OWNER TO WAIT INSIDE FOR MY RIDE; I ASK HIM WHY. THEN HE RESPONDED " BECAUSE ONE OF MY CUSTOMERS WAS JUST ROBBED BY KNIFE POINT BY TWO MEN ABOUT 10 MINUTES AGO, AND THE POLICE ARE ON THEIR WAY". ONE VERY IMPORTANT FOOT NOTE ; THEIR DISCRIPTION MATCHED THE INDIVIDUALS THAT APPROACHED ME JUST A QUARTER MILE UP THE ROAD.

CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON IS A GREAT RESPONSIBLITLY AND I HATE TO THINK OF WHAT COULD OF HAPPENED ON THAT DAY WITHOUT MY WEAPON. THAT BEING SAID; IN CLOSING; THANK YOU SECOND AMMENDMENT, N.R.A. AND GUN ACTIVISTS AROUND OUR GREAT COUNTRY AND OF COURSE ALL OF YOU GUYS HERE THAT UNDERSTAND THE NEED TO HAVE THE RIGHT TO BARE ARMS.

RESPECTFULLY,

SCOTTY G.
