stump_breaker2
Did anyone happen to copy the post or have any information regarding the $200 labor voucher that had been offered by SAI in regards to getting the scoop replaced? Or am I totally freaking crazy and made it all up on one of my Tequila binges?

Stump, I saw in another thread on here that there may be some kind of $ discount for the CS-6 hood in lieu of the scoop fix. That may be what you are thinking of. Tequila binge huh? I can relate to that. What's your brand? I usually drink Patron silver but have started an affair with Corzo reposado :tequila: .

Straight I'm a Patron Silver drinker. Mixed I step down to Sauza Hornitos. :party2: Naw, it wasn't the hood. I was the fix where there was a labor voucher offered to get the scoop replaced since it was not a warranty item. In recent conversations when mentioned to someone at SAI it was stated "I have never heard of the voucher scenario, and I work at Shelby". I was just looking for some proof but it may be long gone now..... It was on the old site.

sdear
I was told verbally by John Walker that they would pay any dealer or body shop of our preference 200.00 to fix this scoop. I looked through my saved emails and didn't find it in writing....but that is what was said. I will keep looking.
mrhugger
Stump Sorry I do not recall that and I have a scoop that needs replacing someday. What is this with John Walker gone from SAI? Steve

I looked through my saved emails and didn't find it in writing....but that is what was said. I will keep looking. That is what I remember (and I believe Bud chimed in about it as well but don't hold me to that) but after the 3rd week of my car being in the gentle hands of QP, I am having an issue. I wont say who is involved or what the situation is since I still deep down want to have hope but here is a quote from an email I received, "Additionally, I have never heard of the voucher scenario, and I work at Shelby". You never know the situation and this guy could have came on after all the rigamaroe (hows that southern word for you?) so some proof of the past statement would be nice. Now that John is gone who knows what policies have changed. It seems as though it is hard to get a scoop replaced in TX. But on the bright side I have nothing but good to say about Quantum Performance, Glenn in particular.
