pmorritt
After driving her home from LA on monday-500miles to n/cal, i noticed that the hid lights were aimed alittle too low for my liking. Don't want to blind anyone but at 70mph I was overdriving the headlites. There is a white plastic socket to the side of each headlite, is this the height adjustment? I did a search but nothing on actual adjustment-too lazy to check manual.

Must say the manual is much more informative than my wifes Audi and former German car manuals.
FiaCobra
I would suggest adjusting it at night, on level ground, and about 25 feet away from a flat wall. Turn the headlights on and look at the pattern that's on the wall. Raise both headlamps just a bit (make sure they're level with one another), then take the car out on the road to test.
